December 23, 2011

I don't think it's fully set in that I'll probably only have a few more opportunities to see the people who I've surrounded myself with for the last few years.

Anyway, this would be my first post. I'm planning on documenting my trip over the next several months as I spend time in Germany with friends and family. It would be something that I could look back on and remember my trip, the people I've met, and the places I've experienced. Who knows, maybe I'll have some friends back home check it every once in a while to see what I've been up to. That'd be wonderful! I leave Chicago on Monday, January 16th :D

Is it sad that I'll miss my cat the most?

Friends and family, I can talk to everyday. This girl, on the other hand, I can't. She has my heart. That's for sure.

As of now, I graduated last friday and have been spending my last few weeks working full time and getting ready for Christmas... even though my pile of presents are still next to me unwrapped. I've been able to see a few friends, but I haven't had much time to. Hopefully after the holidays, that'll change.

I don't feel like I'm anxious or nervous, but lately I've been spending a lot of time at the barn riding. Riding is my way of clearing my mind when I have a lot going on. So I guess, I'm slowly realizing my time at home is quickly coming to an end. But I'm still beyond excited, which has grown since my friends have become more supportive.
This would be Dallas <3 Last Summer

Well, thanks for reading my first post. My thoughts were everywhere, but I promise future posts won't be as chaotic.

Things I still have to get done: send in my U of I application, clear out and paint my room, find an outfit for Christmas Eve, and wrap this pile of presents.
Song Recommendation: Strings by Young the Giant. Or their whole album, up to you!
